Businessmen from Kyrgyzstan have visited the Smolensk region

The b2b-meeting of the Kyrgyz companies which was organized by the Export Support Center of Smolensk region and the Union of the Smolensk producers took place in Smolensk on December, 7.

Businessmen discussed issues of development of the bilateral relations between businessmen of the region and colleagues from the Kyrgyz Republic, in particular, in the sphere of agriculture. They were discussing necessary measures for development of long-term strategic cooperation in agricultural branch and opportunity for support of joint projects from the Export Support Center of Smolensk region and the Union of the Smolensk producers.

"The purpose of our visit in the hero city of Smolensk is to establish business partnership with businessmen of the Smolensk region and to agree about mutual deliveries of agricultural production and other types of goods", - Orospek Duyshebayev, the head of the delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic, noted.

The head of the Export Support Center of Smolensk region Maxim Astapenkov told that the Kyrgyz businessmen held business negotiations with the Smolensk colleagues for signing of the contracts on delivery of goods from the territory of the Smolensk region to the Kyrgyz Republic. The parties have also discussed questions on delivery of goods from Kyrgyzstan to Smolensk.

According to the director of development of the Union of the Smolensk producers Alexey Kubasov, nowadays the Smolensk region is interested in delivery from Kyrgyzstan of fruit and dried fruits and also bean for the subsequent processing and preservation, and the Smolensk producers are ready to deliver vegetables, potatoes, fish and also mineral fertilizers.
