The investment project "Polymer-2 Production Complex" will be implemented in the Smolensk region

The implementation of the investment project became possible due to the agreement between the Regional Administration and POLIMER LLC, concluded at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

The company produces more than 30 types of stretch wrap, among them — shrinkable, glue-free, protective, greenhouse, technical, stretchable and others. And now, in the near future, we plan to increase the production capacity of our products to 210 tons per day.

As part of the investment project, a new complex was built: workshop premises, office and amenity building, distribution centre, power substation. Now, in a new workshop with an area of more than 1,000 square meters and a height of 48 meters they are installing a unique unit for wide-format films up to 18 meters and a thickness of up to 250 microns is being installed.

All works are planned to be completed by the end of the year, the volume of investments will amount to about 2.5 billion.
