The delegation of the Smolensk Region took part in the IV Congress of Regional Investment Agencies and Development Corporations

On October 5-6, 2023, Tula hosted the IV Congress of Regional Investment Agencies and Development Corporations (hereinafter referred to as the Congress), which is held to exchange experience and develop the activities of specialized organizations to attract investment and work with investors in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The Congress was organized by the non-profit organization "National Association of Investment and Development Agencies" (NAAIR), the Government of the Tula Region and the Joint-Stock Company "Regional Development and Support Corporation of the Tula Region".

The Congress was attended by representatives of federal and regional executive authorities, federal and regional development institutions, domestic and foreign investment companies, specialized associations and business associations.

Investment Development Corporation of the Smolensk Region was represented at the Congress by Alexander Kazakov, General Director of Investment Development Corporation of the Smolensk Region.

As part of the business program of the event, methodological recommendations on the work of regional development agencies (Investment Promotion Toolkit) were presented, issues of the development of preferential and infrastructure proposals for investors in 2023, successful experience in the development of investment teams, the implementation of public-private partnership projects in the conditions of "new normality" were considered.
