The German partners are interested in development of joint projects with the Smolensk producers

The capacity of Smolensk region has been presented for the German enterprises at the meeting of the Russian-German Working group on agricultural and food mechanical engineering, which has taken place in Berlin. Also within a framework of the visit to Germany the representatives of the Russian companies have held business meetings with the German partners.

The business event has taken place under the chairmanship of the deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Morozov.

The main subject of the meeting is localization of production of the machinery and equipment which analogs aren't produced in the territory of Russia, and also other directions of interaction.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation concerning food mechanical engineering Russia relies on the foreign equipment which makes 87 percent.

Smolensk region has technical, production and infrastructure capabilities for localization of such productions, considering need of ensuring food security and policy of development of the industry.

During the negotiations in Germany the Smolensk company Intekh LLC a group of companies Khozyain making the wide range of agricultural machinery has proposed to start for the German producers coproduction in Smolensk.
