Technoavia Will Invest 300 Million Rubles in a New Production Facility in the Smolensk Region

An agreement to build a new garment factory workshop in the Pochinok District has been signed by Governor Alexey Ostrovsky and Technoavia CEO Andrey Popov during the Fourth Regional Social and Economic Forum “Territory of Development”.

Worth noting is the fact that the company is currently one of the largest Russian producers and suppliers of professional workwear, personnel protective equipment, PVC-based products (including protective clothing for emergency situation prevention, fishing bibs, etc.). Over 5.5 mln. pieces of garments and 1.1. mln. pairs of safety shoes are produced under the Technoavia trademark.

The agreement signed during the Forum provides for a new garment sewing workshop with a total area of 5 thousand square meters to be opened at a garment factory in Pochinok. It is expected that the total amount of investments in 2018-2020 will be about 300 million rubles. The social effect involves creation of 100 additional new jobs. The investor is going to start construction at the end of November this year.
