On February 27, the Sovremennik Film Center hosted the opening ceremony of the Regional stage of the Professionals 2025 Professional Championship in the Smolensk Region.

This year, 167 contestants of the main age category will take part in the professional competitions of the regional stage of the Championship in 38 competencies. More than 350 experts, including 67 representatives of enterprises, will provide an objective assessment of the contestants' work. The regional stage of the Championship itself will be held at 15 venues in the Smolensk region from February 28 to March 2.

The Professional Skills Championships will allow young participants to develop their competencies, show their skills, improve their skills and share best practices with each other. Employers get a chance to offer contestants individual career paths, thereby strengthening the link between education and the real economy.

The All-Russian Professional Skills Championship Movement unites all those who are interested in high-quality training of young specialists in the region and are ready to support initiative and promising students.

Recall that since July 2022, the Sovremennik Film Center has been under management and is a structural unit of the Investment Development Corporation of the Smolensk Region.

At the moment, the Sovremennik Cinema Center is not only a cinema hall, but also a modern, comfortable venue for events and cultural events at the city and international levels.
