As part of the implementation of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" at Igra Plus LLC, experts from the RCC of the Smolensk region apply the "Competence Matrix".

This tool allows you to visually evaluate information about professional competence and lean manufacturing measures. With its help, managers can identify a list of employees who need training.

The competence matrix shows how well the company is staffed with the necessary qualifications and contributes to the continuous improvement of the skills and competencies of employees.

There is an understanding of the priority of training, the planned composition of study groups, the necessary training topics, monitoring the availability of knowledge and the practical application of lean manufacturing tools.

The competence matrix can be applied at various levels.:

• At the level of personnel management and development services. A competence matrix is being formed, regulations for working with it are being developed, and a budget for training expenses is being formed;
• At the level of the head of the department. The training schedule is being coordinated;
• At the level of a line manager. The competence matrix is analyzed, employee development is planned and feedback is provided on compliance with the stated competencies, used to make managerial decisions and set tasks based on the current level of employee competencies.
