On March 13, the conference "Business Development of the Smolensk Region" was held in the Moscow Region at the Sberbank University.

The event is aimed at attracting the attention of the bank's major clients from other regions of Russia to the opportunities for business development and investment projects in the Smolensk region.

The event was attended by representatives of the Government of the Smolensk Region, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Smolensk Region Alexey Streltsov, Minister of Investment Development of the Smolensk Region Ekaterina Syrchenkova, CEO of the Investment Development Corporation of the Smolensk Region Alexander Kazakov, CEO of the Smolensk Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund Evgeny Silakov, heads of the Savings Bank, as well as major entrepreneurs and investors from various regions of Russia.

During the meeting, Alexander Kazakov, CEO of the Corporation, made a presentation on the investment potential of the Smolensk region, spoke about support measures, promising development sectors, as well as opportunities for implementing investment projects in the region.

During the presentation, there were question and answer sessions, as well as individual meetings to discuss specific projects.

The participants of the event noted the high potential of the region and expressed interest in further cooperation. The regional government, in turn, confirmed its readiness to provide comprehensive support to new investors.
