In August 2025, Royal Cake LLC completed a pilot project to optimize the production process through the introduction of a lean manufacturing system during the implementation of the federal Labor Productivity project.
All the project targets have been achieved: the process flow time (RUNWAY) has decreased by 22%, and the output rate (units per person per hour) has increased by 24%.
These results were achieved due to:
- elimination of losses in pilot flow processes;
- organization of efficient workplaces;
- standardization of the work performed;
- reduction of production line downtime.
The results of the project are the results of the integrated implementation and use of Lean manufacturing tools. The phased identification of growth areas, together with the implementation of developed improvements aimed at optimizing the technological process of manufacturing batches of products, reduced the downtime of production equipment, reduced the complexity of manual operations and reduced the distance of movement, which, in turn, increased the available time for production.
RCC employees help companies improve business processes within the framework of the federal project "Labor Productivity", which is part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". To participate in the project, leave a request on the Productivity IT platform.RF.
