Experts from the Regional Competence Center (RCC) conducted a "Quick Changeover of Smed" training at Royal Cake LLC, aimed at improving labor productivity. The project's working group actively participated in the event, which proposed a number of non-standard solutions for reconfiguring the simulator.
The trainings of the second training module cover lean manufacturing tools that are planned to be implemented at a participating company in the federal Labor Productivity project. This is how Royal Cake LLC conducted a quick changeover training. The participants learned the differences between quick changeover and traditional changeover, got acquainted with the stages of quick changeover, figured out how internal operations differ from external ones, how internal operations can be converted to external ones, and tried to practice changeover of the simulator simulator.
The rapid changeover of SMED allows you to quickly switch from one type of product to another, reduce costs, reduce time loss, increase the range, and expand the range of customers.
According to Yulia Brazhnik, coach of the RCC, "The training helps to take a fresh look at the changeover processes and see the potential for optimization. The training participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the real changeover process, identify problems on their own and optimize the process by reducing changeover time to a minimum."
RCC employees help companies improve business processes within the framework of the federal project "Labor Productivity", which is part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". To participate in the project, you must submit an application on the Productivity IT platform.RF.
