Active employees, future instructors, are being trained at enterprises in the Smolensk Region. Upon completion of the active phase of the project, they will play an important role in the implementation of the federal project under the guidance of the Regional Competence Center. Future candidates for lean manufacturing instructors within the framework of the federal Labor Productivity project are trained on the basis of trainings that will allow them to transfer knowledge and skills in optimizing production processes to their colleagues.

The Regional Center for Competence in the field of labor productivity in the Smolensk Region is actively working to develop the necessary competencies and skills among participating enterprises. In March 2025, within the framework of the federal Labor Productivity project, employees of Smolenskelectrokabel LLC were selected to participate in the lean manufacturing instructor training program.
