Experts from the Regional Competence Center (RCC) of the Smolensk Region successfully conducted the first certification of lean manufacturing instructors at Smetanino Poultry Farm LLC in 2025.

Yulia Brazhnik, coach of the RCC, shared her impressions: "It is extremely important for us that after completing the training, qualified specialists remain at the enterprises who are able to transfer knowledge to colleagues. This is a key element in building a sustainable lean manufacturing system."

As a result of the certification, three specialists were qualified: Evgeny Antonov, Olga Romanenkova and Ekaterina Tolkacheva. Now they will be responsible for implementing a culture of continuous improvement and sharing their experience with other employees of the company.

Certified instructors will conduct training in the following areas:

• 7 types of losses.
• The 5C system.
• Implementation of improvement projects.
• Production analysis.
• Mapping.
• Problem-solving techniques.

Congratulations to the new certified instructors and wish them success in developing lean manufacturing at their home enterprise!

For reference: since 2022, the RCC of the Smolensk region has trained 84 instructors in lean manufacturing, of which 81 have successfully passed certification.
