At the end of July, Smolenskelectrokabel Software LLC hosted a landmark event, information Day, following the completion of the diagnostic stage and the company's transition to independent implementation of the federal project "Labor Productivity", which is part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".

Yaroslav Vasiliev, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Smolensk Region, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He stressed that the federal Labor Productivity project is not only a key tool for the development of industrial production, but also an important response to one of the main challenges today — the shortage of personnel. Productivity growth makes it possible to cope with volumes and maintain the pace of development, despite personnel constraints.

Next, the results of the work of the working group throughout the entire diagnostic stage were presented. The data obtained as part of a comprehensive analysis made it possible to identify the main factors affecting labor productivity, possible potential for improvement, and areas for improvement. Effective solutions to the company's key problems identified as a result of mapping were also presented, and an action plan was presented to achieve the pilot flow targets aimed at improving process efficiency and increasing labor productivity in key areas such as in-house logistics, reducing production cycle time at work centers, equipment maintenance, and optimizing the tools and tooling used.

Special attention was paid to the target indicators, the achievement of which is a priority project task, and what can be achieved by implementing the proposed measures. The implementation of the developed measures will reduce the time of the production process of a batch of finished products by 49% and increase production by more than 2 times.
