In February, Zoya Tkalich, Deputy General Director of the Investment Development Corporation of the Smolensk Region, participated in field seminars for individual entrepreneurs, peasant (farmer) farms and agricultural consumer cooperatives in the following municipal districts: Dukhovshchinsky, Yartsevsky, Safonovsky, Kholm-Zhirkovsky, Yelninsky and Glinkovsky.

Zoya Tkalich spoke about the services provided by the Corporation. In particular, she focused on cadastral and design work carried out for agricultural producers.

The seminar "Mechanisms of state support: subsidies, concessional lending, grant support, social contracts" also examined in detail how the state supports agricultural producers in the region. Specialists from the business support structure fully informed those present about the current measures in force at the current time. The procedure for providing these measures was also explained in detail.

Following the seminar, the participants learned about the mechanisms of state support for agricultural producers, such as subsidies, preferential loans, grant support and social contracts.
