The Process Factory is a production site for the study of lean manufacturing tools

Employees of companies participating in the federal Labor Productivity project were trained at the Process Factory. The specialists of Promactive LLC, Gazprom Gas Distribution Smolensk JSC, and RTF APRIL JSC learned how to use lean manufacturing tools during three game shifts.

The main goal is to teach workers in practice how to deal with the losses that they encounter daily in their factories: inefficiently organized processes, defects, unnecessary actions and unnecessary stocks.

As a result of the training, the national team showed good results by building the production process more efficiently. This made it possible to reduce the cost of a unit of production by more than 2 times with positive financial dynamics. This confirms the practical benefits of learning.
