Svetlana Chupsheva Will Participate in the Territory of Development Forum

The fourth social and economic development forum called Territory of Development will take place in the conference hall of the Arena hotel in Smolensk on November 21, 2018. Svetlana Chupsheva, CEO of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects, will attended the first day of the forum as a special guest.

It should be recalled that the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) is an autonomous nonprofit organization, established to support promising business projects of social importance, to improve the business climate, and to assist in developing young managers and professional management in the social sector.

The Administration of the Smolensk Region intensively cooperates with the ASI –the first cooperation agreement was signed at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi in 2016. As part of its implementation, the Smolensk Region is extensively engaged in activities performed by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, being guided by its recommendations and adopting positive experience of cooperation with other constituent entities of the Russian Federation. It should be emphasized that the successful practices introduced within the region by the Administration of the Smolensk Region are included into the Relevant Solutions Store and proposed for replicating by other regions of the Russian Federation.

The forum, arranged under the auspices of the Administration of the Smolensk Region, will take place in Smolensk on November 21-24. The first event was held in 2015, and resulted in a decision to make it an annual event, which was taken by Governor Alexey Ostrovsky.

The forum is aimed at facilitating a productive dialogue of the authorities, society and business community in order to promote discussion of the prospects and priorities for the further regional development in various lines of cooperation.

The representatives of federal and regional authorities, leaders of major business communities, chief executives of Russian and foreign companies and managers of business projects are traditionally invited to the forum.
