A large greenhouse complex will be built in Vyazemsky district

Within the framework of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi the Governor of the Smolensk Region Alexey  Ostrovskiy and the General Director of LLC «EKORESURS» Alexey Soshnikov signed the Agreement on Cooperation, this agreement about the implementation of an investment project for the construction in 2018-2019 of a large greenhouse complex for growing tomatoes of different varieties - cherry and carpal tomatoes in Vyazemsky District.

It is expected that the total investment will be over 4 billion rubles, and the opening of manufacture will create 450 workplaces for citizens of Vyazma.

It should be noted that the complex with a total area of greenhouse blocks of more than 22 hectares will be built using Dutch technologies.
It is very important that the implementation of the investment project will play an important role in providing citizens of Smolensk Region with vegetable products produced in the region, investors note that the planned production capacity will amount to 11,000 tons of vegetables per year (with an average yield of 35 kg / sq. M cherry, carp tomatoes - 75 kg / m 2). It is planned that the sales markets will be also aimed at the regions of the Central Federal District, and modern forms of logistics organization will allow delivering quality vegetable products at a distance of up to 2 thousand kilometers.

It is worth to add that "Ecoresource" is part of a group of companies whose projects have already been successfully implemented in a number of Russian regions. Among them the construction of the first greenhouse complex for growing vegetables and green cultures in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Giving an overall appraisal of the agreements which were signed at the forum, the Governor of the Smolensk Region Aleksey Ostrovskiy said: «The Russian investment forum in Sochi is a traditional platform where we are presenting the Smolensk region, we are negotiating, we are looking for a new business partners, we conclude agreements on cooperation with them. Undoubtedly, this work gets further development. Today in our region new enterprises are being designed, we have been actively communicating with the investors with whom the agreements were signed earlier on the Forum.

This year we signed new contracts which allow us to attract multimillion-dollar extra-budgetary investments, create hundreds new workplaces, increase the taxable base and by this let us to improve lives of citizens of the Smolensk region».
