In the Smolensk region the livestock complex for 1500 heads of cattle will be modernized

The Governor of the Smolensk Region Alexei Ostrovsky held a business meeting with the Director General of Invest Finance, Sergey Kovalkov, on the territory of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi during which the parties signed the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of the Agro-Industrial Complex.

The cooperation agreement presupposes the implementation of the investment project of the JSC "Shuyskoe" Agricultural Enterprise, which includes the modernization of the livestock complex in Vyazemsky District for 1,500 head of cattle, including 750 heads of Holstein cows. It is assumed that the volume of attracted investments will be 450 million rubles. Also, during the implementation of the investment project, it is planned to expand the existing production of natural milk and create additional workplaces.

Currently, the agricultural enterprise "Shuyskoye" is part of the group of companies LLC "Invest Finance", which successfully operates in the Smolensk region. The company takes a leading position in the cultivation of dairy cattle and milk production. Today, 228 people work on this enterprise.
