Alexey Ostrovsky has taken part in opening of the plant on production of retroreflective glass balls

Within the working visit to the Roslavl district the Governor Alexey Ostrovsky has visited a number of the industrial enterprises in Roslavl and also has taken part in opening of the plant on production of retroreflective glass ball of STIM-2, LLC.

Nowadays 47 people work at STIM-2, LLC. As a result of implementation of the investment project with a total cost of 250 million rubles it has been created production of retroreflective glass balls for a reflecting road marking. It should be noted that the Administration of the region has rendered the company assistance in granting for rent of the land plot of 5,3 hectares which is in municipal property. In addition, it has been minimized terms of connection of the object to networks of gas distribution.

"Glass balls provide good visibility of a marking in night-time and, as a result, increase traffic safety and also increase the capacity of highways. The volume of the products which are turned out by our enterprise will be about 8 thousand tons per year. Road marking is seasonal work and the production, certainly, will be demanded in March-April. Moreover, we have an understanding by the volume of orders", – the acting CEO of STIM-2 Alexey Zheleznyakov has explained to the Governor specifics of production during the excursion on the enterprise, having noted that there are about 500 tons of production in a warehouse now.
