Progress report on the “Construction of a new clothing factory building” investment project (the Pochinok District)

Within the framework of the IV Smolensk Regional Socio-Economic Forum “Development Area”, there was signed an Agreement on construction of a new clothing factory building in the territory of the Pochinok District between the Administration of the Smolensk Region and Technoavia LLC. 

Pochinok Clothing Factory LLC is a part of the Technoavia production development company. The enterprise is one of the largest Russian manufacturers and suppliers of special clothing, personal protective equipment, PVC products (protection suits for emergency liquidators, coveralls for fishermen, etc.). Under the Technoavia brand there are being produced over 5.5 million garments and 1.1 million pairs of protective shoes a year. 

The factory employees’ number is about 600 

A new clothing factory building with a total area of 5.5 m2 is under construction. To date, there have been constructed building frame and roof, and have been completed floor pouring, internal partitions installation and glazing. 

Currently, the construction of a new clothing factory building with a total area of 5.5 m2; there have been constructed building frame and roof, and have been completed floor pouring, internal partitions installation and glass fixing, have been constructed sewage facilities, wiring of internal engineering networks is coming to completion. It is planned that after putting new facility into operation, the currently operating clothing building is going to be used as a warehouse and an administrative facility. In the near future the company is planning to start internal electrical work, as well as improvement and gardening of the territory. Putting the building into operation is planned by the end of 2020.
