Progress report on the “Construction of a five-star hotel” investment project (Smolensk)

Megapolis Company is a Bryansk dynamically developing construction organization, which has ambitious plans for entering the Russian market. Under the hotel construction project, there has been opened a Megapolis-Smolensk subsidiary in our city. 

In view of the ever-growing demand for tourist services, in the second half of 2018 Megapolis-Smolensk LLC has launched an investment project on construction of a five-star hotel in Smolensk with a hotel room capacity of at least 210 rooms, offering the possibilities of holding conferences and forums at the hotel. 

Agreement on cooperation aimed at the investment project implementation was signed between the Administration of the Smolensk Region and Megapolis- Smolensk LLC within the framework of the XVIII Russian Investment Forum.

At present, the final stage of facing works of the building face is underway, as well as the interior decoration of the premises. In the premises, soundproof partition walls from sheet rock were erected. On the 2nd floor, where technical rooms will locate (laundry rooms, technical room for placement of pool equipment and others), walls have been puttied and tiles have been laid. Finishing works are also in progress on the 1st floor where a swimming-pool, SPA-zone and conference hall for 84 people are located. On the 2nd floor, where a restaurant and a kitchen are planned to be, engineering infrastructure networks are being laid.

It is planned that the restaurant on the 2nd floor will fit in 192 people. There will be a restaurant for 150 seats and a karaoke for 50 seats on the 5th floor. An equipped summer terrace for 49 people will be on the building’s roof. From 3d to 13th floor is going to be the key count that will include 208 rooms. The 14th floor is a technical one and intended for placement of the utility equipment.
