Progress report on the “Portland cement production by Dorogobuzh Cement” investment project (the Dorogobuzh District) 

Project Delivery Time: 2017-2020 

Total Investment Amount: 0.45 billion Rub. 

Social Return: 80 new jobs 

Within the framework of the Sochi-2017 Russian Investment Forum, there was signed the Agreement of Intent between the Administration of the Smolensk Region and AlfiGroup Holding, which provides for cooperation in the investment project implementation on the Portland cement production by Dorogobuzh Cement in the territory of the Dorogobuzh District. The company will become the only one producing this construction material within the region; the full production capacity will amount to 300 thousand tons of products a year. 

There are plans to implement the project in 3 stages: 

- Stage I: acquisition of property complex; 

- Stage II: cement clinker production; 

- Stage III: Portland cement production. 

The project implementation is being in the final stage. On the basis of the acquired property complex, there has been launched the cement clinker production and is being built a Portland cement production facility. There are plans to put the enterprise into operation in the third quarter of 2020
