New Sewing Workshop Was Launched at the Sharm Factory in Smolensk

Thanks to launching the second workshop, there were created 69 new jobs including 60 vacancies for sewers. All construction and installation works were completed within the shortest time period. The new workshop has been equipped with modern machinery of world leading manufacturers from Italy and Germany.

According to Andrey Tutunin, General Director of the Sharm factory, the company plans to build new workshops in those settlements of the Smolensk Region where they have not yet been launched.

The Sharm factory was founded in 1964 and is a part of the Russian Knitted Goods Holding. The main specialization is the production of fabrics and knitted goods (sports and informal clothes, etc.) under the TVOYO trade name. To date, the sewing workshops of the enterprise have been established in the regional center, Desnogorsk, Roslavl, Demidov, Velizh, Yelnya, Glinka and the Ozerny village in the Dukhovshchina District – there have been created over 1.8 thousand jobs for natives of Smolensk.
