A Company from Smolensk Has Presented a New Export Brand for Linen Products in Moscow

Supported by the Cluster Development Centre, Smolenskаya Vyshivka (Smolensk embroidery) has launched a new export brand, Linen&Lace Russia.

The Smolensk brand was presented during the 51st TEKSTILLEGPROM Federal Trade Fair for Textile & Light Industry Goods & Equipment, which took place in Moscow on September 18-21.

In addition to Smolenskaya Vyshivka named after M. K. Tenisheva LLC participating in the event this year, the Smolensk Region was presented by Rik Plus LLC, a knitting factory. Participation of both companies was arranged by the Export Support Centre of the Smolensk Region. In addition, NASHE, Smolensk hosiery cotton knitting factory, as well as Kiba N. V., an individual entrepreneur, also took part as exhibitors at the event.

TEKSTILLEGPROM is a specialized trade fair, which is considered to be a basic forum which serves to intensify intrabranch partnership between various producers, acting within this sector of economy, as well as to promote high-quality goods and services to the national market. This event was arranged to foster collaboration between industry professionals, to show achievements in textile and light industry, to present high-quality goods and services offered by the leading domestic and foreign companies.
