Capital investments in the Safonovo industrial park will amount to more than 100 million rubles in 2018

The total investment in the construction of the infrastructure of the Safonovo industrial park will amount to more than 100 million rubles. For these purposes, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in 2018 has allocated a subsidy of 75 million rubles, in addition to the established limits of the Smolensk region

According to the First Deputy Head of the Department of Investment Development of the Smolensk Region, Anton Afonochev, the Smolensk region is the winner for the fourth consecutive year in the competitive selection of the Ministry of Economic Development.

"The total volume of subsidies granted this year is a record one for our region during the implementation of the project to create an engineering infrastructure for industrial parks being built in the territory of the Smolensk region," noted Anton Afonochev at the meeting of the Investment Policy Commission chaired by the Governor of the Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovsky.

Last year, in the Safonovo industrial park, was began a work on the construction of a transformer substation at 110/10 kV PS with a capacity of 26 MW. The commissioning of this substation is planned for the first half of 2019. In addition, the general contractor carried out work on the planning of the territory, provided a temporary power supply to the construction site and energy center and laid more than 200 meters of storm sewage through the territory of the industrial park.

Recall that budget investments in the infrastructure of the Safonovo industrial park amounted to 127 million rubles in 2017. The second stage of construction was completed in the park.

The Safonovo industrial park was designed to accommodate industrial enterprises. The main part of the industrial park will be occupied by industrial enterprises from II to V hazard category. According to the experience of the "Phoenix" industrial park, after completion of construction of engineering infrastructure the interest of potential residents to the park will grow.
