The Smolensk enterprise Polimix presented a new development at the international Import substitution exhibition

The Smolensk enterprise Polimix participates in the III International specialized Import substitution exhibition which takes place in September 12-14 in Crocus Expo, Moscow. The main purpose of the exhibition is demonstration of development of capacity of the domestic enterprises and organizations making competitive import-substituting goods and services. 

The Polimix enterprise specializes in large-scale manufacturing of automobile and tractor units: gearboxes, wheel planetary reduction gear, power takeoff devices. The company also releases units for special road machines. Producing gearboxes for a wide number of trucks is the uniqueness of the Smolensk production.

A new development of the enterprise is the gearbox 136M3 that with success can replace the German box of ZF S5-42 is presented at the Polimix exhibition stand. It should be noted that this unit exceeds the German analog on the technical characteristics.

Besides, the gearbox 136M3 is as close as possible in dimensional and connecting parameters to the unit from Germany that allows to install the Russian device without additional component parts and completions.

This year more than 250 companies from 30 regions of the country present the latest technologies, products and services, perspective developments and investment projects practically in all fields of economy on platforms of the Import substitution exhibition.
