Smolensk region will cooperate with the economic zone Vitebsk

The cooperation agreement between Corporation of investment development of Smolensk region and Administration of a free economic zone Vitebsk was signed within the VI International economic forum Innovations. Investments. Prospects. which took place in Vitebsk last week.

According to the signed document the parties will carry out collaboration in development of two-way communications between the enterprises of Smolensk and Vitebsk regions, to exchange experience with investors and also to cooperate concerning harmonization of legal base of regions.

Within the Forum, the staff of Corporation of investment development of Smolensk region presented the investment potential of the region, told the support of investment activity in Smolensk region and presented possibilities of placement of productions in industrial parks.

The VI International economic forum Innovations. Investments. Prospects. was devoted to key questions of economy and finance, and also to questions in the sphere of energy saving, use of renewable energy sources.

Besides Smolensk region the representatives of Pskov and Kursk regions, and also delegations from Finland, the Baltics, Serbia, Vietnam, China, the Czech Republic and Italy participated in the forum.
