A new project on grain cultivation is implemented in Smolensk region

During a working trip to Sychevka district the Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovsky got acquainted with the course of implementation of the new investment project of Troparevo-Sychevka, CJSC.

The enterprise is a division of Ostankino Meat Processing Plant, JSC. Over the years it is constructed large production facilities in Gagarin, Vyazma and Pochinock districts which specialize in grain growing, pig feeding and production of products of meat processing and uncooked food, more than 2 thousand new jobs are created.

Last year Troparevo-Sychevka, CJSC began its activity. Its specialization is cultivation of grain crops for providing with a food supply the pig-breeding complexes located in the territory of Smolensk region.

The chairman of the board of directors of the group of companies Ostankino Mikhail Popov and the finance director of the agroholding Anatoly Cherkasov held for the head of the region a study visit on agricultural objects of Troparevo-Sychevka and acquainted with the technology of an industrial raising of laylands.

By December, 2018 the enterprise plans to finish implementation of the investment project. Social effect is a creation about 300 workplaces. In plans of the management of the company is to receive average productivity at the level of 40 dt/ha.

Within a working trip the Governor participated in a ceremony of laying of the foundation of a new elevator with a capacity of storages of 100 thousand tons of grain and a combine fodder plant with 40 thousand tons per hour. Forage for 60% of number of cattle of the agroholding will arrive from the plant. In the neighboring regions (Tver, Bryansk) similar complexes are designed for 50-60 thousand tons. 

Besides the head of the region visited the mechanized base of agricultural machinery of the enterprise. Anatoly Cherkasov explained that the good repair shop, necessary living conditions for workers is created, the high level of fire safety is provided. In the short term the enterprise intends to buy 90 combine harvesters and other types of agricultural machinery. It is planned to process and reap the crop from the area not less than 25 thousand hectares.
