Investment potential of Smolensk region was presented in Moscow
The presentation of investment potential of the territory of the advancing social and economic development (TASED) which has been created in the monotown of Dorogobuzh and the industrial parks Phoenix and Safonovo has taken place in the Business Centre of the hotel Radisson Slavyanskaya in Moscow.
Referring to potential investors the vice Governor Vasily Anokhin has declared: “Creation of the territory of the advancing social and economic development in Dorogobuzh is a merit of the Governor Alexey Ostrovsky. At the initiative of the head of the region, it is established large-scale measures of support of businessmen, including the assuming granting tax benefits and preferences in three points of growth for economy of Smolensk region to TASED in Dorogobuzh and two industrial parks. I consider that in this question Smolensk region is one of leaders in the Central Federal District”.
Vasily Anokhin has also emphasized that productions which worked earlier in other regions are already placed in Smolensk region. According to the vice Governor, it demonstrates that proposed measures of state support of investors are favorable and demanded.
Investment potential of TASED of Dorogobuzh was presented by the head of Dorogobuzh district Oleg Garbar. It was noted that the particular legal regime of implementation of business activity creating favorable conditions for attraction of investments is set in the territory of the advancing social and economic development. Advantages of TOSED are evident: the rate of a land tax and property tax of the organizations makes 0% within 10 years from the date of obtaining the status of the resident, also the sizes of obligatory insurance premiums are significantly reduced.
During the presentation it has been presented the infrastructure maps of 10 investment platforms and TOSED of Dorogobuzh. Besides, potential investors have been acquainted with the types of economic activity established for the territory of the advancing social and economic development.
The representative of Department of the program of development of monotowns Fund of development of monotowns Elena Lyakh has told about instruments which this organization offers for implementation of investment projects in the territory of the monotown of Dorogobuzh. The fund can co-finance expenses on construction or reconstruction of the infrastructure facilities necessary for creation of the enterprises.
The vice Governor Rostislav Rovbel has informed about preferences for residents and other advantages of industrial parks of participants of the presentation: “We completely accompany projects, we are ready to support you at all stages of their realization, including search of business partners. In recent years the share of private investments in all volume of investments in the region has increased from 70 to 83%. It speaks first of all about trust of business community to that investment policy which is pursued by Administration of the region under control of the Governor Alexey Ostrovsky”.
